Here's to all the kids whose parents didn't allow them to decorate their rooms citing that "since you didn't pay for it, I'm not going to allow you to ruin it!"

I built my own dresser just so I could vandalize it the way I would've wanted to growing up.

Here she is, in all her glory, covered with all the stickers I've accumulated throughout my childhood till now.
I was lucky enough to receive a really nice desk top for free, so I decided to custom fit it to my office space. As you can see from the photos below, I cut out a corner so that it would fit snuggly around the pillar by my window sill. I then reused the cutout to add a little more surface area to the desk. I also cut out two circular holes for cable management, a slot in the back for my monitor mount, and shaved off another corner so that the desk would fit around the door frame of my closet. Additionally, on all the raw exposed edges of the desk from the sawing process, I added veneers that had been stained to a dark wood tone.

In the fifth and sixth photos I've provided a before and after of my previous desk layout and my updated desk layout. It definitely provides me with much more surface area to work with!

I also 3D modeled and printed caps for the cable management holes.

I also refinished my old desk to give it a second life. The surface had been damaged over the years by water, sharp tools, and wayward sharpie tips. So, I sanded and planed down the top to get it nice and flat. I followed that up with a veneer which I then stained. Ready to be used again!
Have you ever wondered how you're supposed to build a shed on top of uneven concrete?
The answer is adjustable deck pedestals. You're welcome.

The foundation is built out of pressure-treated 2x6 lumber with a layer of OSB on top. The lumber itself is pretty weather resistant, but the OSB is only APA exposure 1 rated; we'll see how long it lasts. The shed itself is of the pre-fabricated variety, made of weather-resistant resin.

Literally the largest project I've worked on to date but honestly not the most complicated. The foundation took me the better part of a week to build, but the shed only took a few days.

Finally, a more permanent setup for storing all my tools and supplies year-round.
